Deeper in Design with Lynn Wood

  • Redwood High School 395 Doherty Drive Forest Knolls, CA, 94939 United States (map)

Take your ideas and turn them into ceramic pieces as we explore the relationship between surface and form. If you have taken one of Lynn's hand-building workshops before, you have seen her many creative templates. In this class, she will walk us through the process of making your own. Lynn is also the "Pottery Texture Queen" with innovative ways to make textures as an integral part of each of her workshops. Design, proportion and important details will be considered as Lynn guides us using exercises, planning and building. This invaluable experience is certain to push your creativity and bump up your work to the next level while refining your personal style. Bring your own basic clay tools and any drawings or images of pots and forms that you love... and an open mind! This workshop is recommended for folks with some clay experience, as we will be digging a little deeper in the mud this time.

We will bisque fire your work (Cone 5 B-Mix clay) for later pick up if you wish.
